For a while it felt so far away. It was beginning to feel like we would never get back into a field that we love so much. A field not just with live music but so much more, not least all the years and years of wonderful memories. After two years of cancellations and delays at last Nozstock is back from the 21st of July till the 24th in Herefordshire.
Creative Director Ella Nosworthy said: “The past two years have been so difficult for
everyone, and what better way to shake off the cobwebs and celebrate the summer
safely than by joining us for a proper good old dance at the farm. We absolutely cannot
wait to welcome both returning and new Noz-goers to what we hope will be our best
year yet. We’ve absolutely packed our line-up with big tunes, big laughs and big
entertainment. I can’t wait to see you all there!”
This year I am am visiting for the day (we only live 20 mins away) with my son, Dylan. He is 13 now and although he has been coming to Nozstock since a baby it really shocked me looking at pictures from 2 years ago at Nozstock, how much he has changed! I think I am fast approaching the day when he tells me its his friends he wants to hang out at a festival rather than his Mum!
We have been giving a early tease at what is happening this year and so far the line up is looking as good as ever;
Sister Sledge, Andy C, Bill Bailey, Flava D,
Gentleman’s Dub Club, Submotion Orchestra, Ibibio
Sound Machine, Craig Charles Funk and Soul Club,
Break, Rosie Jones and many more…
Comedy is always a vital part of Nozstock, and in 2022 Bill Bailey will make history as
the first comedian to take a headline slot on the Orchard stage. I am really looking forward to Dylan experiencing areas like the Garden stage properly for the first time. His tastes are changing and as much as I love the wonderful family space at Nozstock it will be good to listen to some drum and bass and even spend some hours of the night at the cubicles.
Don’t forget that the weekend is still full to the brim with family-friendly activities, including
theater, games, workshops and opportunities to learn funky new skills. To see the full
line-up and find out more about the amazing artists and activities for 2022, visit the
Nozstock website.
