Even at the age of three I can already see her big brothers obsession with conservation of the planet rubbing off on her. We left a party a few weeks ago and she insisted on picking up ever piece of litter she passed in the car park, they both are very aware of the conservation issues and we are doing as much as we can to help make things that little bit better. This is why it’s a absolute pleasure and honour to be working alongside a clothing brand like Little drop in the ocean.
Little drop in the ocean garments are made from GOTS certified 100% organic cotton that comes from either certified factories that use ethical methods for manufacturing and renewable energies or small family run businesses in India. In both instances everyone is paid and treated fairly for the work they do.
They work with conservation charities and 10% of profits from the marine inspired designs go to the Marine Conseration Society to help in their efforts at protecting our oceans.
They mainly focus on tshirts, dungarees and baby clothes. We have had the pleasure of trying out most of the range.
We are big fans of the tshirts, the material feels thick and soft and the print is clear. They wash really well and the print never fades. I love the stitched up cuffs, and small logo badge running along the bottom. The prints are clear and I particularly like the camping and adventure style prints.
The dungarees are made from the most beautiful denim, each pair are made to order. In lots of lovely colours with phthalate-free water based inks and finished with a set of metal fastenings.
The baby clothes are 100% organic cotton and incredibly soft and kind to the skin as well as being kind to the planet.
