Happy 7th Birthday to the best dog and cat mother Happy 7th Birthday to the best dog and cat mother in the world. I know people always think they have the best dog but seriously Penny is in the top ten. Loyal and loving and just the easiest dog ever to look after and have around.

We all want another but she has been so good from day one that I’m terrified of what sort of luck we would get with another one 🤦‍♀️ if only humans could be a bit more like Penny (without the sniffing bums part) 🥰
Manchester has changed SO much. It has been years Manchester has changed SO much. It has been years since we went into the centre itself. What hasn’t changed is the people, atmosphere and my love for the city that will always be home.

Reasons to travel to the American Midwest

April 16, 2019      admin      Leave a Comment

The United States has a lot to offer travellers depending on where you go. Most people usually visit well-known locations throughout the country but sometimes overlook the Midwest. The following are a few reasons why you shouldn’t overlook this area.

1.Welcoming Region

There are a lot of good people in the United States, and the Midwest has some of the nicest people you might ever meet. A study shows that the friendliness of the Midwest surpasses other regions. Talk about going to a place in the US where you’ll be welcomed.

2. Real Peace

One reason to explore the Midwest is to get away from the hustle and bustle. Major coastal cities are filled with a variety of distractions and temptations which get in the way of personal success. It’s no surprise so many people from the coast choose to enroll in drug treatment programs near Cincinnati and other Midwestern cities rather than ones closer to home; getting away from it all helps to focus on treatment. The same can be said for escaping from the daily stress and anxiety of life in the megacities of the world.

3. Foodies Paradise

The Midwest is known for local foodie stops that impress visitors. For one, you will find unusual fried foods as you travel this region by car or caravan. You can also find delicious comfort food. Go ahead and stop in that strange little hole in the wall, and you’ll probably taste something spectacular.

4. True Landscapes

Popular regions in the United States have wonders to share, but the Midwest can still surprise you with its natural beauty. Lack of overpopulated cities means you can enjoy prairies, beautiful horizons, forests, and wildlife as you travel through.

5. Water Living

The Midwest contains a number of bodies of water. You’ll find the Great Lakes in the Midwest amongst other amazing bodies of water. You get to enjoy kayaking, swimming, and all sorts of additional water activities like fishing in this region of the United States.

6. White Winter

This part of the country has some of the most spectacular winters of the United States. Of course, you are going to have to plan ahead because driving during the winter can get dangerous at times, but it is definitely worth the trip if you enjoy winter sports or just want to see the majesty of snow.

7. Good Shopping

The Midwest is known for its thrift stores, and that is something you shouldn’t overlook, especially if you are interested in hard-to-find items. The best thrift stores are the ones in smaller towns rather than bigger cities. Make sure the vehicle you drive has plenty of space to fit all the stuff you might find.

8. Park Away

This region of the country is known for all sorts of experiences you should partake in. During Halloween, there are a number of horror-theme corn mazes that show up as well as haunted houses. You’ll also find a number of theme parks like the Wisconsin Dells water park or Holiday World in Santa Claus, Indiana where you can visit a town dedicated to each holiday.
Now, the US has a lot for you to see, but you can see that the Midwest is an area you shouldn’t overlook when planning your trip.
