❤️International pet day or so IG tells me. Thi ❤️International pet day or so IG tells me. This is a photo from the first lockdown a year ago (remember that one when we all thought it was going to be over in a few months?!🤦‍♀️).
It’s one of my favourite pictures and it just shows how gentle and loved the crazy hound is.
That dog would do anything for either child, she would risk her life 100 times over for them. The most food obsessed 😆but loved and loves us back as much dog ever. ❤️

Packing can be a struggle at the best of times, but there’s even more to think about when you’re pregnant. What do you need? What should you avoid? Do you need to buy anything especially? I have a list to take the hassle out of planning, so you can concentrate on having a good time and getting some well-deserved time to relax. Here’s a list of what to pack (and what not to pack) for your trip when you’re pregnant. Luggage What to take with you A four-wheeled suitcase. Light and easy to ...

Dream Holidays

March 1, 2018      admin      5 Comments

This winter seems to of lasted forever, the thought of feeling the sun on my face and the sand between my toes is keeping me going when really all that I’m getting at the moment is wind through my hair and mud on my boots. Even Dylan commented the other day “I can’t wait to get my shoes and socks off and run in the grass and run around with my friends under blue skies” we are lucky that we have the caravan and we do have some plans to get away this summer but I don’t think it hurts to consider ...

Top Five Family Festivals 2018

January 30, 2018      admin      11 Comments

So many festivals and so little Summer. The choice is huge now. When I first started writing about and taking the children to festivals you really didn’t have much choice but you could now spend a whole summer going from one festival to another. It’s hard for me not to be slightly biased towards some festivals as I work at them but my favourites are based on my experiences and my sons (he helped with this post) and friends experiences. We have picked five favourites and have listed in no ...

Five tips for choosing a perfect family car

January 28, 2018      admin      Leave a Comment

“Sponsored post” A family car is different from other types of car. It is a taxi, a baby changing facility, a dining room (but a messy dining room), a place to throw temper tantrums (often mine), and a place to sleep and in my case at times a mobile office. Here is my top five tips on finding the perfect family car. More tips and advice can be found on cars.com. 1. Size Size should be what you first think about. Some of this is obvious – you should not get a car with five seats if you ...

To France and back again – Travelling tips

August 22, 2017      admin      14 Comments

We fell in love with France last year and we did the thing we always said we would not do, we came back again this year. We even visited one of the same sites as last year. I have always felt it is a big world and we need to see as much of it as possible but France has made me change this way of thinking and I would happily go back again next year. I am by far no expert but I wanted to try and share some tips on travelling to France and tips whilst you are there. You can always have a look at ...

Caravanning with children

June 29, 2017      admin      1 Comment

Last summer we headed off to France for a couple of weeks towing the caravan. Dylan was 7 years old and Matilda 16 months. We have always camped and we had long weekends away with the caravan but France was the longest time we had been away with the caravan. I thought it would be worth sharing some of the things I have learnt from taking the children away on a caravan holiday. I am sure plenty of people have other tips too so please let me know. We all know how great caravanning is for ...
